Singapore financial statements
Financial statements set out the year’s results, financial position and the notes that go with them. Shareholders use them to see how the company did, and later compliance work starts from them.
This service
Year-one accountingS$900/yearYear-one accounting includes bookkeeping for one financial year and the unaudited financial statements for that year. The year is confirmed from the company’s year-end after payment. It does not cover other years. Audit, XBRL, corporate tax, GST and payroll are not included.
Optional services
Add only what you need. The total updates immediately, then you pay.
How this differs from bookkeeping
Bookkeeping records day-to-day transactions. Preparing financial statements turns completed books into the statements and notes that apply. If the books are incomplete, they have to be filled in or checked first.
How this differs from an audit
Preparing the statements is not an audit, and it does not produce an audit opinion. Whether an audit is required is a separate question.
How this differs from tax and XBRL
The statements are source material for tax and some filings. Finishing them does not mean corporate tax, the Annual Return or XBRL has been lodged.
Records to prepare
Usually bank statements, sales and purchase records, expense support, receivables and payables, assets and loans, and the prior year’s statements where they apply.
What the service covers
Whether the plan includes tidying the books, preparing the statements, tax computations or XBRL is whatever that plan lists. Nothing beyond that list is added.
